Peak Performance Physical Therapy offers a comprehensive Industrial Program. We provide expert treatment for the injured worker. Our program places emphasis on injury prevention, with therapists trained in Job Site Analysis, Employee Training and FCE’s. Peak Performance Physical Therapy encourages communication between the employer, employee, physicians, case managers, and insurance companies to prevent workplace injuries and return injured workers to their maximum return to work potential.
Astym treatment sets the standard for soft tissue therapy. It regenerates healthy soft tissues (muscles, tendons, etc.), and removes unwanted scar tissue that may be causing pain or movement restrictions. Astym treatment is highly effective and even works when other approaches routinely fail.
Peak Performance Physical Therapy Spine program is directed by Greg Huffman, PT, with over 20 years of experience. Our program blends Manual Therapy Techniques with stretching and core strengthening to optimize recovery and minimize pain associated with spine problems. These include headaches, neck pain, rib problems, low back pain, and sciatica. Our spine/back program is successful treating people from all walks of life, from children during growth spurts, to pain from sports related activities or work related activities, to common everyday back pain. Our Back program also effectively treats Post Partum Back and Pelvic pain.
About Peak Performance
A lifetime dream to help people and be dedicated to helping the community has been a goal since college. Mark Wilson and Greg Huffman recently started Peak Performance, which includes outpatient physical therapy, home health, and now private practice. They are excited to start in Cortland.
Their philosophy starts with injury prevention at the workplace and athletic arenas, maximizing return to work and sport potential after injury, with transition to wellness programs. Strong emphasis on facilitating athletes, as well as the general population, in achieving their maximum athletic, health and wellness potential.
